RFMplus® is a 60-day, revolving catalog database, featuring daily and weekly hotline names from 50 mail order catalogs. Order transaction data is captured at the point of purchase, and updated weekly to the database. These names are only 1-60 days old, providing you with the most current credit card buyers' names available, every time you mail.

How It Works
The RFMplus® Database is built weekly, utilizing buyer files from 50 participating catalogs. Buyer names and addresses can be submitted in many ways, two of them being:
Electronic Transmission: The customers' transactional data is sent electronically to the RFMplus® service bureau by the cataloger's credit card processor. This is done automatically and daily - no need to change existing systems or relationships.
Tape/E-mail: Weekly tapes or e-mail files are sent to the RFMplus® service bureau with each week's new customer transactional data. Participants have the ability to add these hotline names into the merge at the very last minute, taking advantage of one of the many values to participation in the RFMplus® Database.

Special Test Offer
RFMplus® offers Non-Participating Catalogs the opportunity to discover just how responsive the RFMplus® Database can be. The RFMplus® Database will allow Non-Participating Catalogs to place an exclusive 20,000 name test, selecting names across the RFMplus® Database, for $65/M, plus select fees if applicable. No Black Box
RFMplus® is an open database - the catalog participant list is published, provided to all the members on a regular basis, and available online.

Full Control of Your Names
All list-specific RFMplus® orders go through the traditional List Management approval process, allowing all involved an opportunity to review and approve each order.

Blocking Options
You can block access to your names, and exclude specific mailers, using the following methods:
Overall Block - Denies usage of your names to mailers that you specify
Aging Block - Denies access to your names less than 30 days old to mailers that you specify
Non-Participant Block - Denies access to your names to Non-Catalog, Non-RFMplus® participants.

List Rental Revenue for Participants
There are two ways for RFMplus® participant catalogs to generate list rental revenue from their own names in the database:
Through the rental of participant's specific list by other participants - Revenue generated is handled by your list manager
Through across-database selections by non-catalog mailers - List owner receives 65% of rental revenue.
Royalties are based on the percentage of contributed names, and are paid on a quarterly basis.

Name Selection
Selecting Names - Participating Catalogs Only
Catalogers must participate in RFMplus® to select names from the database (with the exception of mailers who take advantage of our test offer).

Your list broker can place your orders for you.

Exchange orders are approved by you, through your regular list manager.

There are four ways in which catalogers can select names from RFMplus®
Exchange Usage: Select names in an exchange with participating catalogers - approved by list owners/managers
Rental Usage: Select names for rental from participating catalogers - controlled by list owner/manager
Across-Database Selections: Non-list-specific selection, utilizing RFMplus® variables
Housefile Selections: Access your own names for last-minute adds into the merge.

Additional Selections Are Available At No Extra Cost
Recency - by the week, up to 60 days
Purchase Amount - last, total, and average dollars
Multibuyers - within a list, or across the database
Gender
Geographic Selections - State, SCF, Zip.

The Following Are Offered At $7/M
Children - Presence of, Gender, Child's Age (capped at $14/M)
Adult Age and Household Income (capped at $14/M)
Z-24 Product Affinity Categories (64 categories available)
Z-24 Scores - available to Z-24 participants only.
All 64 Z-24 product affinity categories are selectable off of the RFMplus® Database, for an additional $7/M fee. A participant may also apply their Z-24 model score at $7/M. Select charges are capped at $14/M. Please see below for a sampling of the available selections.

Selecting Names - Non-Participating Mailers Only
Non-catalog mailers (financial and insurance mailers, credit card companies, and non-merchandise Internet companies) can select names across the RFMplus® Database. You have the ability to block all non-catalogs or mailers that you specify.
